New Delhi, May 10 (Agency) Coming out of jail after 50 days, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday urged the people to unite and fight against dictatorship. Addressing the party workers while walking out of Tihar jail, Kejriwal said, “We must save the country from dictatorship. To fight against this dictatorship, we must unite with the 140-crore people of the country.” Kejriwal also announced his plan to visit Hanuman Mandir at Connaught Place at 11 a.m. tomorrow to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman.
Following the temple visit, a press conference would be held at 1 PM at the party headquarters. The AAP chief thanked the people of Delhi and the entire country for their support and the Supreme Court for granting him interim bail until June 1. “I am grateful for the prayers of millions of people across the country. I also want to thank the Supreme Court, whose decision has allowed me to be here among you all,” he said. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also arrived in Delhi. He, along with other party leaders and thousands of workers, reached Tihar Jail to receive CM Arvind Kejriwal.
