BJP not afraid of opposition’s unity for upcoming Lok Sabha elections

New Delhi, May 26 (FN Agency) Amid efforts to put a joint face by opposition against NDA in Loksabha elections in 2024, BJP leadership on Friday expressed confidence that the party is up for the challenges put up by opposition parties. “The people of this country will vote to the achievements and development agenda of the Modi- led government,” a prominent leader of the party said at a program organized on the occasion of completion of nine years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government her. Asked whether the boycott of the inauguration of the new parliament building by 19 opposition parties and come together at this juncture will impact the party prospect the coming Lok Sabha elections he said, ” Yes, it is true that they come together in the general elections but the voters in the country like the image of our Prime Minister and his achievements as the Prime Minister of India”. Regarding the preparations of the BJP for the upcoming elections to the State Assemblies the party leader said that the BJP will go to the people on the basis of a comparative analysis of its nine years’ work.

On the questions on regional issues, “The BJP leader said it will fight the panchayat elections in West Bengal and the Lok Sabha polls with full force and bring better results than expected”. According to them, BJP workers will make every sacrifice in the panchayat elections in West Bengal, but will fight the elections with full strength and power. Regarding Chhattisgarh, sources said that there the party will remove its shortcomings and there also we will come to power again. When asked about Madhya Pradesh, he said that every election is challenging, but we will contest there under the current leadership and win there too by rectifying the shortcomings of the party. BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, Railway and Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani were present in this program. Party general secretary Tarun Chugh, CT Ravi, Vinod Tawde, party’s national media in-charge Anil Baluni, co-in-charge Sanjay Mayukh were also present at the event.
