New Delhi, Dec 9 (Representative) A three-day Inspector General (IG) level talk between Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) got underway in Kolkata on Wednesday for better management, coordination at Indo- Bangladesh border. According to the BSF, the six-member BGB delegation is led by Additional Director General South West Region Jashore Md Zakir Hossain along with the representatives of Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs.
The BSF delegation is represented by the BSF delegation is led by South Bengal Frontier IG Ashwini Kumar Singh and the representatives of Narcotics Control Bureau. During the event, both the sides will deliberate on various matters of mutual interests and Border Management such as cross-border smuggling particularly drug smuggling, construction of different structures like barbed wire fencing and other installations are likely to be discussed, the BSF officials said here.
