Mumbai, Jan 1 (Representative) Corona vaccination dry run across the country will be held on January 2 and four districts of Maharashtra– Pune, Nagpur, Jalna and Nandurbar have been selected. According to the state Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the Union Ministry of Health has given guidance on how to prepare for vaccination through video conferencing.
Three sites (health centers) in the same district have been selected for the dry run. In this dry run of vaccination, 25 people from each of the three places selected will be selected for vaccination. However, the vaccine will not be actually administered but all preparations will be made as per the guidelines.
In addition to electricity, internet, security, waiting room, immunization room and observation room will be set up at the vaccination site. Dry vaccination will be conducted at Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Urban Primary Health Center, District Hospital Jalna at Jalna, Sub-District Hospital Ambad, Shelgaon Primary Health Center in Badnapur taluka and District Hospital Nandurbar at Nandurbar, Primary Health Center Ashte and Navapur Sub-District Hospital, Mr Tope added.
