This World Record for the ‘LARGEST JUTE BAG IN THE WORLD’ will send a larger-than-life message to the world audience, to wake up to the necessity of eco-conservation and embracing sustainable, eco-friendly Jute to create a GREENER, HEALTHIER & INCLUSIVE WORLD for the generations ahead.
Breaking all previous records we have created the new world record of the World’s Largest Jute Bag, by making a Jute Bag of weighing more than a ton. This spectacular, historical feat will create huge world-wide visibility for Indian Jute & Artisans. It will remain as a testimony of our glorious achievement in the Guinness World Records. This bag is made by released prison inmates, women and youth from the lower socio economic backgrounds, vulnerable sections of the society. It is being made in the prestigious school grounds of St. Thomas Schools, Khidderpore, Kolkata, the oldest school in Asia (estd. 1739) The dimensions of the bag created by us is 30.68 (breadth) x 24.87 (length) x 6.3 (width) meter(s).
