Srinagar, Feb 22 (Agency) Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested two people and seized two vehicles for illegal excavation and transportation of sand and bajri in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, a police spokesman said. He said police have launched a drive against illegal mining along the banks of Nullah Sindh and other water bodies.
He said a police party from Police station Kheer Bhawani headed by Station House Officer (SHO) established a special naka near Nullah Sindh, intercepted two tippers loaded with illegal bajri and sand.
