Aurangabad, Jul 26 (Agency) A police sub-inspector was booked for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 in Beed district, the ACB stated on Monday. The erring official has been identified as Rahul Pandurang Lokhande, who is attached with the Ambora police station. According to the ACB, the accused sought Rs 80,000 from the complainant in lieu of not taking action for an offence booked against him. The allegation was found to be true post verification, hence a case has been booked against the cop under the Prevention of Corruption Act, the ACB said.
