Kakinada, May 31(Agency) East Godavari Police in addition to creating awareness among people on strict enforcement of curfew and covid regulations have taken a tough stand on mask violations and levying penalties, police sources said here on Monday.
On Monday alone the police all over the district had booked as many as 369 cases for mask violation and levied a penalty of Rs 29,900. All together from March 26 till now the total penalty levied for mask violations has been Rs 41,59,600, the sources added.
