New Delhi, Sep 27 (FN Agency) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday arrested four persons in ongoing investigation of a case related to alleged coal theft in Eastern Coalfields areas during the last 7-8 years, CBI statement said. It was alleged that the arrested persons, Jaydeb Mondal, Narayan Kharka aka Narayan Nanda, Gurupanda Maji and Nirad Baran Mondal, were close associates of other accused and assisted him in engaging miners, arranging transporters and sold the illegally excavated coal. The arrested accused will be produced before the court of CBI Special Judge at Asansol in Paschim Bardhaman, CBI said.
