Mumbai, Aug 5 (Agency) The BSE Sensex on Friday rallied 210 points at 58,509.62 in opening session ahead of the RBI Monetary Policy announcement.The Nifty too gained 51.45 points at 17,433.45.The sensitive index registered days high and low at 58,526.69 and 58,330.15 points respectively.The sectoral indices like Power, Realty and Technology stocks gained.The Nifty registered days high and low at 17,446.35 and 17,389.30 points respectively.
The Mid Cap moved up 0.16 per cent and Small Cap by 0.48 per cent.In 30 scrips, 24 advanced while six declined.The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 1.95 per cent to Rs 707.45; Ultracemco by 1.74 per cent to Rs 6,706.75; L&T by 1.39 per cent to Rs 1,805; SBI by 0.95 per cent to Rs 537.95 and ICICI Bank by 0.87 per cent to Rs 827.The losers were Reliance Industries by 0.71 per cent to Rs 2,553.10; Maruti Suzuki by 0.54 per cent to Rs 8,922.25; Nestle India Ltd by 0.40 per cent to Rs 19,763.30 and IndusInd Bank by 0.21 per cent to Rs 1,047.90.
