New Delhi, May 22 (FN Agency) State-run Power Grid Corporation on Saturday reported 18% year-on-year jump in net consolidated profit to Rs 4,156.44 crore for the quarter ending March 2022 (Q4) as compared to Rs 3,526.23 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The company’s revenue from operations in January-March period of FY22 stood at Rs 10,686 crore as against Rs 10,510.23 crore in the same period of the previous year. The total income for Q4FY22 was Rs 11,068 crore compared to Rs 10,816 crore in the Q4 of the previous year.
On consolidated basis, company posted a net profit of Rs 16,824 crore and total income of Rs 42,698 crore for FY22 registering a year-on-year growth of 40% and 5% respectively. “The company has proposed a final dividend of 22.5% (Rs 2.25 per share on a face value of Rs 10 each) in addition to first and second interim and special dividends aggregating to 125% (Rs 12.5 per share on a face value of Rs 10 each) already paid for the FY22,” Power Grid said in a statement. The total dividend for the year thus amounts to Rs 14.75 per share compared to Rs 9.75 per share (adjusted for bonus share) for the previous year.
