Mumbai, Feb 8 (FN Agency) The BSE Sensex on Monday continued to rise for the sixth consecutive session as BSE Sensex rallied by 788 pts to 51,519.85 an all time high as buying was witnessed across the board amid strong global cues. The Nifty too moved up by 190 pts to 15,114.45. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 51,472.68 and 51,146.67 pts respectively. The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,133 and 15,041.05 respectively. In 30 scrips 27 advanced while 3 declined.
The Mid cap rose by 1.38 pc and Small Cap by 1.55 pc. The gainers were M& M by 7.09 pc to Rs 927, Axis Bank by 3.26 pc to Rs 742.95, Bharti Airtel by 2.83 pc to Rs 597.70, ONGC by 2.51 pc to Rs 100.10 and IndusInd Bank by 2 pc to Rs 1048.75. The losers were Bajaj Auto by 0.51 pc to Rs 4210.60, NTPC by 0.15 pc to Rs 99.50 and Hind Unilever by 0.02 pc to Rs 2270.
