Mumbai, Feb 26 (Agency) The Rupee on Friday slid by 62 paise to 73.03 against the USD Dollar in the opening trade on rising demand for US Dollar by banks and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit fell on the firm dollar against other world currencies amid weak opening stock in the stock market. The domestic unit registered days high and low at 72.90 and 73.06 respectively, he added.
