Aurangabad, Dec 23 (Agency) Indian Oil Executive Director and Maharashtra Head Amitabh Akhauri on Wednesday talked about the new initiatives launched for customer convenience. Addressing a press conference here, he said, “E-receipt facility is now available at all retail outlets of IndianOil. This will not only help customer to keep track of his/her fuel purchases but makes the transaction totally contact less in view of COVID-19 environment. The Corporation has also opened up free nitrogen facility across more than 300 no of retail outlets of Maharashtra that includes 83 nos of ROs in Aurangabad.”
He further said, “IndianOil’s 5 kg FTL cylinder, has been given a brand identity, with a relatable and endearing name Chhotu. This Indane variant was launched by IndianOil, keeping in mind the needs of specific segments including migrant labour with no current address proof, young professionals, and households with limited LPG consumption as well as for small commercial establishments in need of cooking gas. To obtain a cylinder, a customer merely needs to submit an ID proof copy. In addition, these cylinders are easy to carry and use. Minimal paperwork, and the cylinder’s compact and safe design make it a viable option for all customers who need LPG at short notice, cylinders are available at various points of sale including IndianOil retail outlets, Indane distributorships, and department (kirana) stores and can be purchased from the customer’s preferred location.” “Chhotu is widely available across all the 36 districts in Maharashtra and 13 districts under Aurangabad Area Office through a constantly expanding network for better access. The extensive network is backed by the augmented bottling capacities at our plants. In fact, the Corporation has sold nearly 52 lakh cylinders since its inception all over India and 1,32,492 nos in Maharashtra,” he added.
