Kejriwal marches to LG office over teachers’ training issue

New Delhi, Jan 16 (Agency) Aam Aadmi Party MLAs led by Delhi Chief Ministers Arvind Kejriwal on Monday marched to Lieutenant Governor office over the issue of teachers’ training program in Finland. Kejriwal, along with his MLAs marched from Vidhan Sabha to LG office. The march was started just after the Delhi Assembly was adjourned for the day amid protest by AAP MLAs against the LG. “We are marching to LG House for let teachers go to Finland for training,” the CM said.

“Last year I was not allowed to go abroad but at least let the teachers go! what is the enmity with the children of the poor?” he said. Kejriwal tweeted and wrote, “LG is saying he never rejected teachers’ Finland training proposal. If that is the case, Hon’ble LG may kindly write me a letter immediately saying that he has no objection to the teachers’ training proposal in Finland and the matter will be over?” He accused LG of stopping Yoga classes, Mohalla clinics, DJB and bus marshal’s salary payments. Echoing a similar sentiment, his Cabinet colleague and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia asked what was the problem with LG if teachers get their training in Finland.
