Mumbai, Jan 28 (Agency) The NCP on Thursday questioned the BJP whether it agrees with Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister’s demand to declare Mumbai a Union Territory. It may noted that Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Sawdi has demanded that Mumbai be made a Union Territory.
In a press statement, state chief Spokesperson of NCP Mahesh Tapase asked whether the demand of BJP state president Chandrakant Patil and Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis that Mumbai should become a Union Territory acceptable?. ‘Do you want to make Mumbai a Union Territory? Mahesh Tapase hopes that if you are with Maharashtra, you will reply to the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka,’ he asserted.
