Srinagar, Jan 22 (FN Representative) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin like substance in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, a police spokesman said on Friday afternoon. Police had established a naka checking at Yaripora, Kulgam, in south Kashmir. However, during the checking a vehicle was intercepted and 180 grams of heroin like substance was recovered. A drug peddler who was driving the vehicle was arrested. Vehicle has also been seized, the spokesman said, adding that a case FIR No. 03/2021 U/S 8/21, 8/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Yaripora and further investigation initiated.
