Mumbai, Dec 14 (Agency) Infrastructure major, KEC International has secured new orders of Rs 1,438 crore across its various businesses. Railways business has secured orders of Rs 475 crore in the urban infra / emerging segments in India. Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) – Order for construction of Depot cum workshop for the Delhi – Meerut RRTS corridor from National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). Ballastless Track works (BLT) – Order for BLT and associated works from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and Signaling & Telecommunication (S&T) – Order for S&T and associated works from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL).
Civil business has secured orders of Rs 383 crore for infra works from reputed private players in the Chemical, Cement & Residential segments and a Government order in the Water Pipeline segment in India. Transmission & Distribution business has secured orders of Rs 362 crore for T&D projects in Middle East and the Americas from various customers. Cables business has secured orders of Rs 218 crore for various types of cables / cabling projects in India and overseas.
