New Delhi, Aug 16 (Agency) Table Tennis Federation of India has selected Jiban Ballav Samal, a Blue Badge International Umpire of Table Tennis, to officiate as an Umpire in the upcoming XXXII Paralympics 2020, TOKYO. The Paralympic is scheduled to be held at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium from August 24 to September 5, 2021.
Jiban Ballav Samal is working as Business Executive in the Department of Posts and presently posted at Cuttack.Mr Samal is the only Table Tennis official from India to officiate the Paralympics 2020. In the past Jiban Ballav has officiated in many International Table Tennis events. Odisha state Table Tennis Association Honorary Secretary R K Parida congratulated Jiban Ballav on behalf of the office bearers and members of the Association and wish him all the best for the Paralympics 2020.
