Vij expresses hope Sindhu will win gold medal in Olympics

Chandigarh, Jul 28 (Agency) Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has expressed hope that India’s badminton player P V Sindhu will break her previous record of Rio Olympics and win gold medal for India this time at the Tokyo Olympics. Mr Vij tweeted on Wednesday that ‘PV Sindhu enters pre-quarterfinals in Badminton at Tokyo Olympics. Hope she breaks her own Rio Olympic record and wins gold medal for India this time.’

It is noteworthy that India’s star badminton player P V Sindhu performing extraordinarily well in the Tokyo Olympics. She has managed to make it to the pre-quarterfinals with an easy win. India’s badminton star PV Sindhu has crossed another milestone in the Tokyo Olympics. She defeated Cheung Ngan Yi of Hong Kong 2-0 in her match today. Sindhu won the first game 21-9 and the second game 21-16. This is Sindhu’s second win in this Olympics and she has reached the knockout stage. India is hoping for a gold medal from Sindhu.
