Three customs officials dismissed from service for providing aid in gold smuggling

Kannur, Jul 23 (Agency) Customs Preventive Commissioner Sumith Kumar on Friday dismissed three Customs inspectors from the service on the charges of helping to smuggle gold weighing 4.5 kilograms through Kannur International Airport in 2019. The dismissal orders were issued to Rohit Sharma, Sakeendra Paswan and Krishn Kumar, the trio serving as Customs inspectors at Kannur Airport.
