Yogi distributes appointment letters to over 6k assistant teachers

Lucknow, Jul 23 (FN Agency) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Friday, distributed appointment letters to 6,696 assistant teachers of the Basic Education Department under the Mission Rozgar series. CM Yogi Adityanath while addressing the newly appointed teachers on this occasion said, ‘From today you have got a chance to do something for the country along with your home or family. All of you people should be honest towards the society and strengthen the foundation of the nation.”

He said that basic education is the foundation of society. By strengthening it, we will be successful in building a prosperous and powerful nation. Chief Minister presented appointment letters to six or seven candidates at Lok Bhavan. Along with this, appointment letters were also provided to the remaining teachers in the districts. After slowly resolving the recruitment process of 69,000 assistant teachers stuck in a long court battle in UP, the Yogi Adityanath government has so far provided appointments to 62,304 assistant teachers. Even after this, appointment letters were distributed to the remaining 6,696 selected teachers today. In this Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma and Minister of State for Basic Education Satish Kumar Dwivedi and his cabinet colleagues were also present.
