Hyderabad, Jun 22 (Agency) Special Operation Team (SOT), Madhapur have busted an organized online Cricket betting by arresting five bookies. Police seized net cash of Rs 20.5 lakhs, one betting board, one laptop, 33 mobile phones, one TV and one Hathway Router from their possession.
On credible information the SOT, Madhapur along with Bachupally Police arrested five cricket bookies when they were excepting cricket battings from the Punters on ongoing Pakistan Super League 2021, a police release here said on Tuesday. Accused Somanna of East Godavari Disstrict of Andhra Pradesh is the key person for online cricket bettings in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States., the release added.
