Dharamshala, Jun 20 (Agency) Kangra police has arrested a Punjab resident at Kathog falling under Jwalamukhi police station in this district on Sunday after recovering heroin from his possession. The police also seized his vehicle used in the crime and registered a case under different sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Senior Superintendent of Police Vimukut Ranjan told UNI on Sunday that a person identified as Jasvinder Singh alias Jassi, resident of Ludhiana in Punjab was caught by a patrolling team at Kathog village. The police team recovered 4.40 grams of heroin from his vehicle and an investigation is on in the case, SSP Ranjan said.
