Mumbai, Apr 1 (Agency) The BSE Sensex on Thursday bounced back by 359 pts to open at 49,868.53 as buying was seen across the board. The Nifty too rose by 108 pts to 14,798.15. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 49,942.84 and 49,743.04 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,814.65 and 14,760.80 respectively. The Mid Cap rose by 0.79 PC and Small Cap by 1.38 pc. In 30 scrips 27 advanced while 3 declined. The gainers were HCL technologies by 2.57 pc to Rs 1008.70, Bajaj Auto by 1.85 pc to Rs 3739.70, NTPC by 1.97 pc to Rs 108.55, IndusInd Bank by 1.78 pc to Rs 970.95 and Titan by 1.33 pc to Rs 1578.05.
The losers were Nestle India by 0.44 pc to Rs 17,094.75, HDFC Bank by 0.28 pc to Rs 1489.30 and Powergrid by 0.28 pc to Rs 215.05.
