Kolhapur, Jul 18 (Bureau) The Maharashtra Chess Association on Saturday announced a time-table for the state-level chess selection competitions for senior and junior groups in boys and girls categories due to be held from July 19 to 22. The selection competition for senior girls and junior boys would be held on July 19 and 20, while senior open group and junior (girls) on July 21 and 22 All the competitions would be held online on “Tornelo” link.
Last date for filing of online application for selection competition is July 18, a press release issued here today said. The prize money for senior group boys and girls is Rs 50,000 each, while for junior boys and girls is Rs 30,000 each. Two winners from each group would be played in National Chess competition, on behalf of the state.
