New Delhi, June 1 (FN Agency) Indian sports fraternity on Wednesday condoled the untimely demise of acclaimed singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK.KK, who mesmerised music buffs for over two decades with his soulful numbers, passed away at the age of 53 on Tuesday night after a concert in Kolkata.Former India star opener Virandra Sehwag took to Twitter and said: “Tragic to hear about the passing away of KK after falling ill while performing in Kolkata. Another reminder of how fragile life is. Condolences to his family and friends.”Ex-India captain Virat Kohli tweeted: “Lost a magnificent singer of our times and so suddenly. Condolences to his family and close ones.”India badminton star and Thomas Cup winner Chirag Shetty also mourned the demise of popular singer, “By far one of my favourite artists! This is just so sad!” he tweeted.”No conversation about growing up, and the 90s, is ever complete without KK and his songs.
