Kolkata, Dec 24 (Agency) Kerala will host the final round of the 75th edition of the Senior Men’s National Football Championship Santosh Trophy from February 20 next year, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced on Friday. Ten teams, who have qualified for the final round, will vie for honours in the tournament.
The final is slated to be held on March 6. The draw will be held in the first week of January. Thanking the Kerala government, AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das said: “The AIFF values support coming in from the state governments, and we look for a long-term fruitful relationship.” The AIFF had earlier announced a collaboration with the Kerala government on multiple football development projects including the successful hosting of the Senior Women’s National Championships which concluded earlier this month.
