Indian Wells, Oct 6 (Agency) India’s Ramkumar Ramanathan, ranked 191 and seeded 19, made his early exit as he was beaten by Roberto Quiroz, ranked 300, of Ecuador by 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in the first round of the ATP Masters-1000 $16,718,910 Indian Wells on Wednesday.
The match ended in one hour and 37 minutes. Ramkumar fired eight aces and committed seven double faults. Ramkumar got $4,785. Meanwhile, Rohan Bopanna’s partner in the doubles is Denis Shapovalov of Canada. They have been drawn to meet Fleix Auger-Aliassime of Canada and Hubert Hurkacz of Poland.
