Manish Sisodia urges CBI to postpone questioning in Delhi excise policy case

New Delhi, Feb 19 (Agency) Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Sunday urged the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to postpone his questioning in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case as he is busy preparing the city budget. Sisodia replied to the media queries and said that he received notice from CBI yesterday, they had called for an enquiry. Sisodia said that being the Finance Minister of Delhi, he is busy finalizing the budget which has to be completed by the end of February, after that he is ready for questioning.

“I have always cooperated in the investigation and will continue to do so,” he said. On Saturday, Sisodia received a summons from CBI for questioning in an on-going probe into the Delhi Excise Policy case. He tweeted and wrote, “CBI called me again, against me they have used full power of CBI, ED, raided my house, searched bank locker, nothing was found against me. I have made arrangements for good education for the children of Delhi. They want to stop the work. I have always cooperated with the investigation and will continue to do so.”
