India Online Poker C’ship:
11th edition receive record-breaking 1.26 lakhs entries

New Delhi, Aug 10 (Representative) The recently concluded India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) received record-breaking 1.26 lakhs entries from across the country, the organisers said on Tuesday. Vaibhav Temani was crowned the winner of the Championship and he bagged a gold badge, a diamond badge, and the coveted diamond studded 18K gold crown. The mega poker fest witnessed some nail-biting moments as the guaranteed prize pool was Rs 30 cr which was crushed by whopping INR 33 cr. The tournament tested mental strength, decision making skills, analytical skills, and endurance of all participants. Of all the marquee events, players were most excited about the prestigious Main Event, which holds the highest value in the poker fraternity.

Dominating the coveted diamond studded 18K gold crown, Vaibhav Temani, the winner of the Main Event Crown said, ”It was a tough fight, but I managed to recover from a massive deficit in heads up to beat another player.
