New Delhi, Aug 8 (Agency) The Indian Youth Congress on Monday staged protest across the country against the BJP-led government at the Centre over rising inflation. Members of the Youth Congress holding placards and banners held the demonstration at district level and assembly constituencies. “Inflation is increasing in the country. It has made life difficult for the common people. A conspiracy is being hatched to suppress every voice raised against inflation,” IYC national president Srinivas BV said.
Attacking the government, he said, “This propaganda government of BJP has left no stone unturned to mislead the country in the last 8 years. In the midst of non-essential issues, they kept imposing inflation on the public very cleverly, but now the public has understood their conspiracy. That’s why there is a need to talk about inflation.” “We are not fighting our own battle but for the countrymen. Our intention is to raise the voice of the people,’ Srinivas said.
