Yogi flags off BJP’s ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in UP

Lucknow, Aug 10 (Agency) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi on Tuesday said that the whole country is making grand preparations for the Amrit Mahotsava of its independence and at such a time, the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ has become a powerful medium of public awareness which is awakening a sense of reverence and respect in the minds of all towards its national symbols, which are full of patriotism. The CM was launching an awareness rally with the aim to ensure massive public participation in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign organised as a part of ‘Independence Week’ on the occasion of August Kranti Day to celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. In the program organised at the CM residence, Yogi flagged off a rally and called upon the people of the state to participate with enthusiasm and zeal in the Har-Ghar Tiranga campaign.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ slogan has now become a mass movement,” he said. He said that at the same time it has brought an opportunity to all to bow, remember and take inspiration from the ideals of the immortal sons who had sacrificed their lives for the freedom of this country. Congratulating the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on the occasion, the CM said that all of you are moving forward to take the tricolour symbol of India’s pride and joy to every house, which will play a role in bringing a massive change in the lives of 135 crore citizens of the country. He said, “With this faith, zeal, decency and discipline take the tricolour to every home and connect people with the pious resolve to establish India as the world’s biggest power during Amrit Kaal.”
