New Delhi, July 24 (Agency) Opposition’s Vice-Presidential candidate Margaret Alva met Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to seek the party’s support in the forthcoming Vice-Presidential elections, the AAP said on Saturday. “Both the leaders exchanged pleasantries during the meeting as well as discussed the current political atmosphere of the nation.
The meeting concluded with both the leaders expressing mutual respect and acknowledgement,” a statement from AAP said. Party officials informed that AAP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) will meet soon to take a call on the party’s stance on which candidate to support in the VP’s election. The election is due to be held on August 6.
