Vehicular traffic moving with snail pace in Shimla ahead of PM rally

Shimla, May 30 (FN Agency) The traffic is moving with snail pace in the town a day before rally of PM Narendra Modi in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday. On Monday, 9 thousand 140 vehicles from other states have crossed the Shoghi barrier and reached Shimla. There was a long jam from Khalini Chowk to Tutikandi bypass. Tourists and school children coming to Shimla are facing problems due to the jam. Due to the arrival of tourists, the occupancy in Shimla hotels has reached 80 to 90 percent.

In order to get relief from the heat prevailing in the plains, the number of tourists is increasing continuously in the capital Shimla. Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra and West Tourists coming from Bengal are also reaching Shimla. People associated with the tourism business have also breathed a sigh of relief due to the arrival of tourists, but difficulties are being created for the common people. There is a lot of movement of tourists on the way from Ridge Maidan to Jakhu. DSP Traffic Ajay Bhardwaj told that the traffic on the bypass is high on Monday. After the weekend, tourists are returning back to their homes, while tourists are also coming to Shimla. In such a situation, the police is keeping an eye on the situation of the jam.
