Lucknow, Sep 20 (Agency) Uttar Pradesh Pradesh Congress Committee (UPPCC) on Monday authorised working national president of the party Sonia Gandhi to nominate national president, state president and all office-bearers. The decision was taken during a meeting of the elected delegates of UPPCC.
The proposal was presented by Rajya Sabha member and member of the Congress Working Committee Pramod Tiwari.The proposal was supported by former state president Nirmal Khatri, former Union Minister Pradeep Jain Aditya, Leader of the Congress Legislature Party Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’, MLA Virendra Chaudhary and others.Assistant State Election Officer of the Indian National Congress Election Authority Rameshwaram Dudi presided over the meeting.
