To protect India, Oppn ‘INDIA’ bloc must win all 40 LS seats in TN, Pondy in 2024 polls: Stalin

Chennai, Sep 10 (FN Agency) “If the country has to be good the Opposition-led INDIA bloc should win all the 40 seats (39 in Tamil Nadu and the lone seat in Puducherry) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections”, Chief Minister and ruling DMK President M.K.Stalin asserted on Sunday. Addressing a marriage function of the family of DMK MLA Sabha Rajendran in Neyveli via video-conferencing , he said “only if the INDIA block wins, India can be protected”.

Underlining the importance of winning all the 40 seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the 2024 polls, he said “Only if we secure a complete win–bagging all the 40 seats–we could play an important role in the Union government that would assume office next”. “Let us all take a pledge in this marriage function to work unitedly to ensure that the INDIA bloc wins all the 40 seats”, he said and concluded his speech with his usual slogan “All 40 (seats) is ours, country is ours”.
