New Delhi, Oct 21 (Representative) Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will file her nomination for Wayanad bye-election on Wednesday, party sources said here. According to sources, during the filing of the nomination, Priyanka will be accompanied by Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. She is the UDF candidate for the Wayanad Parliamentary bye-election and will officially file her nomination before the Returning Officer in Kalpetta.
Moreover, Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states, along with prominent national and state leaders will also be present to show their support, sources added. Sources added, prior to filing of her nomination, Priyanka Gandhi along with Rahul Gandhi and will lead a roadshow from Kalpetta New bus stand at 11 AM. The nomination will be filed before the District Collector at 12 noon. Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi met Kharge at his residence and sought his blessings.
