Pilot’s fast anti-party: Randhawa

Jaipur, Apr 11(FN Agency) Rajasthan Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has called Sachin Pilot’s decision to start a day-long fast against the state government over the probe into corruption cases during the predecessor Vasundhara Raje government as an anti-party move. Randhawa issued a statement late on Monday night saying “Sachin Pilot’s day-long fast is against the interests of the party and is an anti-party activity. If he has any problem with his own government, then it can be discussed on the platform of the party instead of media and public. I am AICC in-charge for the last five months, but Pilotji never discussed this issue with me.

I am in touch with him and still appeal to him to talk peacefully. Because he is undeniably a pillar of strength in the Congress party. “It is worth mentioning that Pilot had announced on Sunday that he would sit on hunger strike on Tuesday at the Martyr’s Memorial, demanding an inquiry into the corruption cases during the Vasundhara Raje government. In a press conference, Pilot said that he had written two letters to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot urging him to investigate the matter, but no action was taken even after four and a half years of the government, in such a situation, he had to go on a fast.
