Vijayawada, Jan 2 (Representative) Observing that the blunders committed by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government have become a curse to the people of the State, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday, said that the people have given a historic verdict to the TDP-led NDA Government in the State in 2024. During a chit-chat with media persons at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, the party national president and chief minister remarked that the people had suffered a lot during the five-year rule of the YSRCP. The people are feeling safe and comfortable after the NDA came to power, he said. All the systems were totally destroyed with the anarchic policies adopted by the then chief minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and he has pushed Amaravathi, Polavaram, and other irrigation projects into a total mess, he remarked. “After the coalition government is formed, I have visited New Delhi four times to not only resolve the technical problems but also get Central funds,” Chandrababu said.
Stating that all those insane persons who are posting objectionable comments on social media are being controlled, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is slowly but steadily moving forward to bring the State back on track. Regretting that the blunders committed by the Jagan Reddy government have become a curse to the state, Chandrababu said that in these six months, an entire exercise has been done to correct these blunders. Since the State has become an address for crimes during the YSRCP rule, these unlawful acts are being controlled slowly after the NDA came to power, he remarked. “Our government has certain priorities, and we are continuing our governance accordingly. The NDA has received a historic verdict in the state in the 2024 elections, and we are functioning to repose confidence among the people,” Chandrababu said.Announcing that the Polavaram Project Technical Committee has submitted its feasibility report, the Chief Minister said that the project will be completed on time by getting funds from the Centre.
Making it clear that he will never resort to vindictive politics, Chandrababu said that he, however, will not leave those who commit blunders. “However big one may be, he or she is equal before the law,” he remarked. “People will once again experience the 1995 Chief Minister in me. If anyone resorts to posting objectionable comments on social media, stringent action will be taken against such persons,” the Chief Minister said and stated that the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) agreement is certainly an advantage for the State Government. “We will move ahead as per the provisions of law after examining the records,” he clarified. Recalling that no one could defeat him in the 2004 elections, Chandrababu said that he had well developed Hyderabad but could not take it to the people in a proper manner. “But now I will certainly explain to the people the developmental works being undertaken,” he said. Thousands of crores of investments have come to the state in these six months, he said, and added that during the previous regime there were no investments in the state.
