Binjor, Dec 20 (FN Agency) Emphasising on the development works done Modi government at the center and Yogi government in the state senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gandhi on Sunday said the speed of the development witnessed in the last few years is just a trailer the movie is still to play. The film will play with the blessings of the people of Uttar Pradesh. Kickstarting BJP’s ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ here Gadkari said, “We are rich national with poor people. Why is it so? He said that it was because the previous governments did person oriented work, but after 2014 the development policies of the government were formulated in the manner due to which living standard of the people improved. Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan and UP”s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya were also present on the occasion.
Referring to change in road projects and agriculture sector he said that what UP was before 2014 and what it is today, this every person is realising. Sharing an old experience he said, “Once I was coming to Bijnor by road. I couldn’t make out whether the road is full of potholes or the road is in the potholes. You can yourself feel who were the roads then and how are the roads now. The Union Minister said that good roads lead to speedy development. America is rich, because it has good roads. Pointing out towards revolutionary changes in future, he said that the government has done goods works in road transport sector for the benefit of the farmers. He said, “In our country fruits are cheap, but juice is costly, Grain is cheap, but bread is costly. This situation is because wheat and rice is rotting in the warehouses of the country.” He said that the government has made an arrangement in which a farmer will not remain only an ‘anndata”, but he will become ‘urjadata’. Farmers will give an alternative of diesel and petrol. Gardakri appealed the farmers to open ethanol pumps. He said that the government has formulated a policy to encourage farmers to set up ethanol pumps. Now vehicles will run on ethanol. Not only sugar, but ethanol will also be produced from the sugarcane of the farmers. Not only this, he said that ethanol will also be produced from rice. 380 units would be set up across the country. Cane and paddy producing farmers will get full price of their produce.
He said that hydrogen will be produced from the remains of cane. Stubble will be used to produce bio-fuel. “I have remodeled my tractor so that if can run on bio-CNG. In the first week of January I will show you a vehicle which will run on hydrogen and I’ll to the Parliament on that vehicle. From train to other vehicles all will run on this green hydrogen,” he said. Terming these changes the future of the farm sector, he said that it is the green fuel will make the farmers prosperous. Claiming that cane producing farmers were getting fair price of their produce in Yogi Adityanath’s rule he said, “We are not ending only hooliganism in UP, but poverty and unemployment as well.” Gadkari said, “It was was only a trailer which was running from the last five years, the movie is still to play. This movie will play in the next five years. Our government is bring technology, We are not talking about caste, we are talking about welfare of villages and poor. This is our politics and this is our program.”
