New Delhi, Jan 3 (Agency) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his ‘AAPDA and Sheeshmahal’ remarks during a public meeting at the Ashok Vihar’s Ramlila Ground saying that it is not AAP but BJP is facing various types of aapda. Kejriwal said, “Delhi is not facing any kind of aapda but BJP is facing three types of aapda-BJP doesn’t have CM face, it doesn’t have a narrative and it doesn’t have an agenda.” Addressing the media following the Prime Minister’s address at a public meeting, he alleged Prime Minister led BJP of making fake promises of providing houses to every person in the national capital. “In 2020, PM made a few promises to the people of Delhi. He (PM) said that till 2022, everyone in Delhi will get a house. Today in 2025, PM Modi has handed over the keys to 1700 homes and he gave keys to 3000 houses in Kalka Ji some time ago. In total, he has given keys to 4700 houses in 5 years,” Kejriwal alleged.
“In Delhi, there are 4 lakh slums and 15 lakh people need homes. Looks like their manifesto was for 200 years instead of 5 years,” he added. “After 10 years today, Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of three colleges,” the former Chief Minister said claiming that in these ten years, his government has built 22000 classrooms, three new universities, 11 new vocational colleges and 6 university campuses. “AAP is working for people government not foundation laying government”, he claimed. Kejriwal said that out of 43 minutes of speech, Prime Minister Modi abused AAP for 41 minutes. He also accused the Home Minister Amit Shah of worsening law and order in the national capital and advised him to take out time and address the issue being faced by the people of Delhi. Replying to a question, the AAP National Convenor hit out at the Prime Minister saying that talking about ‘Sheeshmahal’ doesn’t suit a person who is living in a house worth Rs 2700 crores, travelling in an airplane worth Rs 8400 crores and wearing a suit worth Rs 10 lakhs.
