MSRTC employees strike continues

Aurangabad, Nov 10 (Agency) Deadlock continues between striking MSRTC employees unions and state government on Wednesday even after the government set up a three-member committee directed by High court to submit a report on the demands of the state transport corporation employees. The strike is causing a lot of inconvenience to the passengers especially due to the ongoing festival season. Meanwhile the state government has allowed private buses, school buses as well as company-owned buses and freight vehicles to carry passengers due to the disruption in bus services.

As of now, all depot workers in Aurangabad district are on strike for the fourth day in a row today. The agitating workers have warned to continue the agitation till their demands are met. Meanwhile more than 350 employees from 46 depots across the state have been suspended by the corporation till now. State transport minister Anil Parab appealed to workers to join duty.
