Mumbai, Sep 19 (Agency) Maharashtra NCP chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Monday accused the (Narendra) Modi government of being ‘blind, deaf and mute’ to the pressing problems of the country such as inflation, unemployment and farmers’ woes, and asked it to wake up now.
Addressing a press conference at the party office, he said on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a farmer from Junnar taluka of Maharashtra allegedly committed suicide due to the wrong policies of the Modi government and the deceased farmer has even mentioned about that. It is sad that a farmer who provides food to people of the country committed suicide on the Prime Minister’s birthday, he added.
