New Delhi, Nov 29 (FN Bureau) Lok Sabha on Friday was adjourned for the day, after Opposition members created ruckus over alleged corruption case against Adani group, Sambhal violence and other issues. As soon as the lower house re-convened at 12 noon, Opposition members raising slogans “Modi, Adani Ek Hain”(Modi and Adani are one) and “Sambhal Ke Hathyaaron ko Phansi Do” (Hang the Murderers of Sambhal) entered the well of the House.Amid sloganeering, Presiding Officer Dilip Saikia said that the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has rejected the adjournment motion. During this, amidst the noise, the Chair completed the process of laying on the table of the House various papers and reports.Presiding Officer Saikia urged the protesting members to go back to their seats and let the proceedings of the House go on”.“You please take your seat and raise your issue.

Despite his request, the Opposition continued with their protest forcing the Chair to adjourn the House till 11 AM on Monday i.e 2.12.2024.Earlier, when the House assembled for the day, amid ruckus by Opposition members over various issues, the House was adjourned till 12 noon.
