Hyderabad, May 2 (FN Bureau) Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, alleging multiple assaults on the Constitution since India’s independence. He further accused Congress of disrespecting Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. Addressing the media regarding the induction of BRS Party Corporator Kalpana from Warangal East Constituency into BJP, Reddy criticized the deteriorating state of Telangana politics, highlighting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s behaviour and accusing him of arrogance. Reddy lambasted Revanth Reddy for allegedly resorting to derogatory symbolism during election campaigns and failing to fulfill electoral promises, particularly the Congress party’s “six guarantees.” Furthermore, he accused the Congress party of orchestrating misinformation campaigns, including the morphing of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s video, and spreading divisive rhetoric.
Reddy challenged Revanth Reddy’s credentials, questioning his involvement in the Telangana movement and asserting BJP’s strength against Congress’s alleged misdeeds. Regarding the upcoming visits of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Telangana, Reddy highlighted the positive momentum for BJP across the nation and emphasized BJP’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people. Reddy warned against the “stupid fight” between Congress and BRS parties, accusing them of engaging in political dramas to undermine BJP’s electoral prospects. He urged voters to reject Congress’s alleged constitutional violations and embrace BJP’s agenda for social justice and development. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Telangana later in the day, partaking in religious rituals and conducting a review of the election campaign with key party leaders.Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on May 8th further underscores BJP’s commitment to winning the support of the people.
