Kejriwal releases 10 guarantees for MCD polls

New Delhi, Nov 11 (Agency) Ahead of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls scheduled on December 4 in the national capital, Aam Aadmi Party released its ten guarantees here on Friday for Delhiites which would be fulfilled to make the city clean and world class, once the party comes to power. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal assured Delhiites through the guarantees and said, “AAP will not make any new garbage mountain and landfill site here, corruption free corporation, parking issues to be solved, solution for stray animals, better roads-streets to be developed, work on education-health, develop beautiful parks, will pay salaries on time, problems of businessmen to be solved and will develop vending zone.”

Kejriwal took a dig at BJP and said it first brought the ‘Affidavit’, then threw it in the garbage. Now they have come with “Vachan Patra”, it will also be thrown in the trash bag after the results on December 7. “The BJP had said in the last Delhi Municipal Corporation election that it will end the mountains of garbage. Now the party is saying that there are mountains of garbage in every city. Where are the mountains of garbage in London-Tokyo-New York-Washington?” he added. Kejriwal alleged, “BJP admitted that all its councilors are corrupt, so all the candidates were changed and tickets were not given to them.” “Will corruption end by changing the candidate? Should not send them to jail?,” he added.
