Kejriwal govt did not allow opposition to speak on important issues in Assembly: BJP

New Delhi Nov 26 (Bureau) Leader of opposition in Delhi assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Friday alleged that the Kejriwal government did not allow the opposition to speak on important issues, like the new alcohol policy and increasing pollution level in the National Capital. “BJP MLAs under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri staged a sit-in in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the assembly premises for not being allowed to speak on issues like the new alcohol policy, pollution etc,” said Ramvir Singh Bidhuri in a tweet.

Alleging that the Kejriwal government is spending crores of rupees on advertisements, Bidhuri said, “The amount of money the Chief Minister @ArvindKejriwal government has spent on advertisements, he would have built a 1500 bed hospital in Delhi. “Hefty earnings due to Corona tax on liquor and almost doubling of VAT on petrol and diesel are also being spent on advertisements,” he alleged. On Friday, the Delhi Chief Minister, Kejriwal, called a special session of the assembly on the occasion of the completion of one year of the farmer’s agitation against the three farm laws. During the session the Delhi government passed a resolution demanding Rs 1 crore compensation for families of 700 farmers who had died during the protest, withdrawal of cases against farmers, guaranteed MSP and action against Union Minister Ajay Mishra, in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence incident.
