JTET pass candidates gherao residence of Education Minister over jobs

Ranchi, Sep 2 (Agency) Candidates who had passed the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTEST) 2016 on Thursday gheraoed the residence of Education Minister Jaggarnath Mahto demanding direct recruitment. Hundreds of successful candidates who had reached from different districts of the state outside the house of minister demanded that they should be given direct employment and alongwith that they have also demanded that the new recruitment policy be withdrawn.

Many women who had also reached outside the house of the minister got emotional sharing their plight. They said that for the last five years they have been running from one post to another but their plea is going unanswered. The candidates said that the minister and MLAs have nothing to do with the sufferings as whichever party comes into power they end up forgetting their promises which they make in their manifestos. The agitating candidates are demanding direct recruitment as per the teacher recruitment policy of 2012.
