Hike of Rs 50 in cooking gas anti-people:Cong

Shimla, May 8 (Bureau) Congress State President Pratibha Singh has termed the continuous increase in the prices of LPG cylinders as completely anti-people. In a statement issued here Sunday , Pratibha Singh said the recent hike of Rs 50 pc of LPG cylinder has gone beyond 1100 today, which is becoming out of reach of a common and middle class family. With the total hike of about Rs 700 in cylinder prices during Modi Government it is clear that state is not worried about the people’s kitchen at all. Ms Singh pointed that the government is forcing women in hilly states like Himachal, where people have adopted LPG while emphasizing on the conservation of forests but they may move in the direction of burning wood stoves.

Pushing them into the smoke, which the Congress in the country had given them freedom from this smoke. Pratibha Singh has said the government is not giving any relief to the people from the rising inflation. The interests of the farmers and gardeners are being completely ignored. The unemployment figure is increasing day by day, which is a matter of great concern. Criticizing the BJP government of the state, Pratibha Singh said it is completely ignoring the burning issues in the country. Pratibha Singh has also expressed concern over the increasing corruption in the state and said the pair leak of police recruitment is a big fraud with the unemployed youth and the Congress is standing with the people against this injustice and deception and it will fight for justice for them.
